• From September 2006 to February 2016, Sophie held the position of Head of Corporate Sustainability and Communications at Medine Limited. Beginning as a Social Projects Manager, she implemented initiatives such as the Fondation Medine Horizons, the Medine Entrepreneur Scheme, and the Medine Training Centre (now known as Talents). In 2009, she established and led Medine’s Corporate Communication and CSR Unit.
• Earlier in her career, Sophie worked as an Assistant to the Economic Adviser at the European Commission, managing Decentralised Cooperation programmes for The Comoros, Mauritius, and Seychelles, focusing on poverty alleviation through support initiatives for non-state actors.
• Sophie also served as a Research Executive at Business Mauritius from September 2003 to January 2004. Her responsibilities included coordinating task forces on ethics for private sector operators, business and environment, and community development. • She started her career in consulting with DCDM Consulting and Accenture Paris, where she worked and led major cross-functional system integration projects in various countries, including France, Spain, the US, and Madagascar.
• Hanjali joined the Rogers Group in 2008 and served as Senior Project Manager for the Cim Group, managing various strategic projects across the organisation.
• In 2015, she transitioned to AXA Customer Services Ltd, a Rogers investment, where she held the role of General Manager. In this position, she oversaw AXA's offshore activities and led a team of over 250 employees. 
• Hanjali joined Rogers Capital Fiduciary in 2019 as Chief Officer Operational Excellence. She spearheaded the Corporate Administration and Fund departments and led process digitalisation initiatives. Additionally, she served as a resident director on the boards of various clients.

EXPERIENCE

• Shyama joined ENL & Rogers Groups as Chief Culture & Inclusion Executive for ENL & Rogers Groups in July 2024.
• She has led ENL's corporate communications since April 2009 and was Group Head of Communications prior to assuming her new role. As such, she has led brand image and reputation management strategies that have led to the consistent growth of the ENL corporate brand over the years.
• She joined ENL in April 2007 as Communications Manager for Villas Valriche where she led communications strategies for luxury residential estate development in the group, with a strong focus on digital media, marketing and key stakeholder management.
• Prior to joining ENL, Shyama was a Senior Current Affairs Journalist at La Sentinelle.
