IT Technical Support Officer

Outline of job role and purpose

• Install and configure new or current computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered with all hardware devices
• Perform daily server monitoring and performance benchmarking
• Maintain daily tape back-up and off-site tape storage management
• Provide technical support for Android and IOS users
• Act as an information Security Subject Matter specialist to the business
• Monitor information security policies and procedures of companies

Candidate qualification and profile
 

• Diploma or Degree Holder in an IT related filed
• Minimum 2 years working experience in Technical Support
• Some knowledge and/or experience with common information security management frameworks will be an advantage
• Passionate about ICT with a strong desire to stay up-to-date on current and emerging technologies
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Time management, organizational and multitasking skills
