MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to customer (departments) and supplier inquiries about order status, changes or cancellations
  • Routinely audit purchasing operations to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Analyse competitive bids on the basis of profitability, quality and ability to deliver
  • Manage various procurement projects that include the areas of purchasing, contracting, sourcing, and commodity management
  • Work with Cost Price Analysis and  Commodity Management Groups to formulate negotiation plans
  • Develop innovative approaches to review procurement process effectiveness and explore logistics solutions for customers and suppliers
  • Provide recommendations on all procurement related issues, plans, reports, trainings and metrics
  • Analyse sensitive procurement data
  • Manage Procurement Database and Digital procurement documents
  • Take responsibility to evaluate vendors and suppliers based on quality, price and speed of delivery
  • Assist team in procurement related activities

 

CANDIDATE'S PROFILE:

  • Fully IT literate with efficient analytical skills
  • Previous experience in the Hospitality  industry would be an advantage
  • Expert in Excel 
  • Highly organised with a good eye for details
